ABOUT ME

How I Got Started
Hi, my name is Jennifer Miranda, but you can call me Jenn (she/her/hers).
I am a strong believer that we are our own toughest critics, and it is one of my greatest passions to help people take the power away from that critical voice and find new ways to have compassion for themselves.
To begin this journey, I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a B.S. in Clinical Psychology. A few years later, I walked across a stage with an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adler University in Chicago. During my graduate program, I completed my clinical internship at Illinois' only Perinatal Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and continued to be a part of the team post-graduation, supporting individuals as they face some of the challenges of pregnancies and the postpartum period.
I am grateful for the opportunities I have had since and walking alongside people on their journey toward healing.

Being born and raised in Puerto Rico, I am also happy to support you in your preferred language of English and/or Spanish.
In my free time, you will either find me at the dog park with my Australian Shepherd, Boone, or ready to board a plane somewhere new in the world!
